Scrap My Car And Buy A New One Today

By Thomas Roberts

Motoring is a notoriously expensive affair, but for many it is a necessity. When you drive a brand new auto off the forecourt you will never envisage the day you will be taking it in for scrap. But there comes a time when you have to stop pouring money into repairs and a time when you say you will scrap my car for money.

If you use you auto for work and school commitments then it must be reliable. If you go out to the garage and turn the key and nothing happens, your family will become angry with you. Your kids will be late for school and the fridge will stay bare. An unreliable truck can actually put a strain on your marriage.

You could be clinging onto your truck or station wagon because you have limited funds. This really is false economy. Add up how much you are spending in repair bills and you will see why. Look online to see the value of your vehicle and you will quickly stop repairing it. The good news is that your truck no matter how broken will always have a scrap value, for its weight in metal.

You have a few options when you sell your auto for scrap. You can either look online and find the value of your vehicle, or you can call the tow truck and take it straight to the yard for scrapping. A direct deal will ensure you get the cash you deserve for the weight in metal. But if you want to try to sell for more you could advertise parts that are in working order.

Sometimes you'll be expected to drive your car out of town to pick up the cash value. This of course will not be possible if it doesn't start. If your car is in really bad order then the best thing you can do is scrap it for weight value of metal. That is unless you have a garage at home and a lot of time and patience.

So if you are not desperate for the cash straight away and you have a garage, by all means start stripping your car. Good tires will sell easily, as will some of the metal parts such as the bonnet and doors.

Depending on how long you have been driving your motor you may have become very attached to it. You will remember when it was brand new and you spent your Sunday afternoon washing and polishing it. But once all you can remember are the repair bills, it's time to part with your beloved truck.

With the cash you make if you are scrapping your car, you can put down a deposit on a brand new one or alternatively put the money towards buying a second hand model. Remember an unreliable vehicle is worse than not having one at all, and there will come a day you will have to say goodbye to your beloved motor.
