These are must-see events for truck enthusiasts, and they offer a great way to indulge your love of trucks and enjoy a fun weekend. The following list includes just a few annual events that truck owners definitely will enjoy attending.

If you want to mark a certain month when you would actually allocate time for truck shows, it would be June. It is in June after all that the American Truck Historical Society holds its yearly convention. This is the mother of all antique truck shows, and you should grab this opportunity to check out the different truck models that were created in the past 100 years. It is also during the convention that you would have a chance of listening to various experts on trucks and other related topics.

Heat Wave is another truck show that is very popular among truckers. This is actually series of shows that is conducted in different towns and cities in Texas. While the show held by the American Truck Historical Society focuses on the classics, Heat Wave is all about the newer and contemporary trucks. The show also holds competitions that people like you would surely enjoy. Such competitions include those that deal with truck hydraulics, audio competition and burnout competitions. Many people who attend Heat Wave think that the contests are the main attractions, and while the show is held in Texas, it attracts many people from other areas of the country as well.

While many may not have heard much about the town of Tunica in Mississippi, avid trucker fans know this tiny hamlet as the site of the annual Showfest. This yearly show is one of the most popular truck shows in the country. A huge amount of custom trucks are showcased at this annual event. There are also tons of vendors on hand, selling everything from helpful accessories to aftermarket parts that can help you transform your own truck into a masterpiece.

Slamboree is another truck show that you cannot miss if you live in Oklahoma. This is an annual show held in Tulsa, but it definitely attracts truck enthusiasts from around the country. Aside from the trucks, there are also some custom motorcycles and cars displayed too.
