By Annabelle Holman

As men grow up their toys stay the same, just get more expensive. Many would be able to say that they have owned a motorbike some or other time in their lives. There is one that plenty men will really love to have with a few extra accessories included. This would be a chopper, one with a genuine Harley Davidson cruise control.

In some plants there are about 1200 different ways the parts are arranged and a new bike passes through the production line every one and a half minutes. Each one is made to be unique and very seldom is there two that are the same. Each part that is assembled is checked to see if it is correctly fitted, if a problem is found his is solved very quickly.

This all began in a little barn that was hand built and soon over 20 employees where hired to ensure the continued making of these machines. A few years later the first 1000 CC V-Twin was made and it had a horsepower of seven. The motorcycle that set the standard as being the one to bring about the well known name was the 45 degree V-twin. Just after that the famous logo "Bar and Shield" was placed on all of them, this is still their symbol of today.

When you have made up your mind and managed to save enough to buy a Harley there are some guidelines that can be followed. One can get confused if you have not bought one of these before. When looking for new motorcycles try and find a dealership that is in your neighborhood. Discuss with the salesman on what they can offer and if they have any options available to you for financing it.

There is a vast array of different brakes and suspensions that can make it uniquely yours. The front polished brake rotors are polished to perfection leaving a chrome appearance. Each one is sold separately and all installation hardware is included. You will need to purchase two for the front wheel and two for the rear, each one is $149.95.

The Aileron Heated Hand Grip has smooth rubber inserts with curving chrome outlines. It is controlled by a thermostat with different settings. If the weather changes while you are on your long ride these grips will always remain a constant heat. One will not need to worry about having your battery go flat as this has an on and off switch and they are also removable if you find another grip you prefer. These are sold at $249.95.

The Chrome and Rubber Hand Grips are made from chrome plated and injected by rubber molding. As they are not glued on they can be easily removed. The diameter is 1.6" and will be a comfy fit to most hand sizes.

Always get quotes from different dealerships as this could be used as a bargaining chip. Something to keep in mind is that the higher the down payment is the less the installments will be. Some will even offer to install a cruise controller for an additional fee.
