Installation Process For The Cooling Fan Assembly For The Cupboard

By Lisa Smith

Most of the devices that we use at home are subject to overheating when used for long time. Items such as game consoles and cable boxes easily get hot and accumulate dust. When they are not well taken care of, they can be a threat to proper air circulation to the cabinets and the equipment. Before it gets worse, it is advisable to ensure that you create ventilator to increase the air circulation. The following is the process that you can use to install a cooling fan assembly for a cabinet:

Most people find it easier to remove the doors altogether to create room for ventilation. This can look so absurd for most people because they prefer to have their rooms look smart. For this reason several people go for the ventilators. Once you have made that decision, you can use the below steps to ensure that the conditioner is properly installed inside the cupboard.

You need to have all the tools that will be required to complete the task. They include the levelling tools, jigsaw, drill measuring tape and screw driver. The professionals always prefer the use of single or double controlled thermals. Once you have the materials together, you need to mark the places where the ventilators will be installed.

You should then identify the position of the air conditioner. Once you have identified it, it should be marked. The selection process depends on the preferences and specific needs of the owner of the cabinet. Since the cabinet has other shelves containing the cupboards, it is wiser to place the conditioner parallel to that shelf.

Once you have settled on the location, you now have to mark a central point where the item will be fixed. The system comes with covering tape and you should use it in outlining the marks that have been made. You then need to place the kit at the marked pints with the aid of the covering tapes. You should then take the levelling tools and ensure that the conditioner is properly leveled. When you use the tape measure, you will not damage the cupboard because you will have the exact details on where to place the item.

The holes should be then drilled using the tool. Most experts recommend the half inch bit size for the holes. The holes will be made at the contrary junctions of the marked square and they should be two in number. The sawing should start from the point that the hole is drilled to make the work easier. Once you have removed the square, you should measure it against the kit to find out if it will first properly.

Once the measurements are made, you should collect all the ventilation kit and fix it in the hole. You need to follow the instructions that are highlighted in the manual. The conditioner should be fixed in the grill and the right side should face on the outside direction. The kit should be fixed to the mounting plate and then the entire system can then be installed inside the hole.

You should then again drill four holes at every end of the square. The hole should be near the wall and their main function is to hold the screw drivers that will sustain the entire system. Once you have drilled the holes, your conditioner should be ready to perform the various functions.
