By Charles W. Nash

Cars are actually just humans. They also got sick if not given ample assistance and proper caring by the owners. Symptoms are also present when they are having minor problems you can assess them through their lights, clicking noise and most especially, the engines. If your car won't start and you are being stuck in a long road, troubleshooting is the most advisable solutions while waiting fro auto assistance. Sometimes, the problems with your car are not really big and serious and you just need to know their symptoms and try to solve them.

One part to be assessed is the ignition switch. You might actually find a bad ignition switch due to the some cases like locked steering wheels. This can happen when the wheels are left at a certain point or being parked in higher position just like on a hill. You can troubleshoot this problem by inserting your key lightly, and turn your steering wheel from left to right with the key. By doing this, you can unlock the wheel and start your car.

Another problem is the gasoline. May be, you forgot to fill the gas tank of your car and it is the most common reasons why your car won't start. On the other hand, you should make sure that your gas tank is filled with gasoline before transporting and making a long trip. As a tip, you should go to the nearest gasoline station and fill your tank at least half or full or you may calculate for the amount of fuel according to the kilometers you will travel. With this, you will never get stressed on the fuel aspect.

Aside from the ignition switch and fuel, you may need to assess your battery. Make sure that the cables are not loose over the potholes or large bumps. Tighten the cables and start your car. Aside from these, check if there is corrosion on poles and you may need to clean it using a battery cleaner and then try to switch on your car again. If not, you will need to check if the battery is drained and need to find a new one. In this case, if you are stuck in a car with this problem, car assistance or auto repair is needed.

Checking the parts of any clogs should be your priorities before going to an auto repair. You need to know that early assessment is better than nothing and of course, if you did all the techniques and zero results, then, call any assistance from car and auto shops and let them work on it. Reading manuals related to engines may help.
